Rhode Island Wine Trail Guide
This small state boasts four fantstic wineries! Take a day off from work and tour them all, from the fine reds of Diamond Hill to the delicious port at Newport Vineyards. Sakonnet is the largest winery in New England!

Greenvale Vineyards
Greenvale Vineyards is in its second year as a winery operation and in its 17th year as a vineyard operation. The Parker family built the "Ferme Orne" throughout the 1860's. The wines are said to be excellent examples of temperate climate wines, something the Parkers have been working towards for many years.

Newport Vineyards
Just planted in 1977, Newport Vineyards has an amazing selection of wines for such a new vineyard! Great White is a crowd pleaser, and their port is smooth and sweet. Fourteen varieties make this a great stop any time you head towards Newport.

Sakonnet Vineyards
Located in Little Compton, RI, Sakonnet was founded in 1975. Wine production has climbed to over 50,000 cases annually. They grow Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Vidal Blanc.
